With the Spring season rapidly approaching, we want to announce our Blackhawk Spring Training Program for youth lacrosse players. Our Spring Program will be nine weeks long, three days per week- two days of training, and a third day consisting of speedball games. Our training will reinforce individual skill building including 1v1 work, dodging, ground balls, shooting, stick skills, two-man game, and off-ball movement. Speedball sessions will be games played with teams of 4-6 players on the outdoor basketball court using box nets, without padding. The game relies on off-ball movement, picks, shot accuracy, and strong passing and catching skills, rather than physicality. Our 9 week season will begin by creating teams and competing every week, culminating with a championship.
We feel it is extremely important that athletes are working on their game as much as possible, especially during the primary lacrosse season. Our Spring Training Program will give your son an opportunity to advance his game in preparation of Summer tournaments!
